The Department of Emergency Services is responsible for Emergency Communications, Emergency Management, and Emergency Medical Services for Caroline County.

We provide:

  • High-quality pre-hospital emergency care to citizens and visitors
  • Emergency Management for county government
  • Fire/Rescue, Law Enforcement, and EMS Emergency Communications, including operation of the 911 center for Caroline County

As a rural Maryland community with limited access to definitive care, we are committed to providing the highest level of pre-hospital medical care available through Advanced Life Support protocols, quality improvement, training, and education.
